oh, i like piña coladas...

picture a hot summer day...

at the beach or by the pool...

instagramming your teenie weenie bikini...

(obviously for the sole purpose of making other "friends" jealous)

hangin with your friends...

dancin to some music...

checkin out some boys....

darkening your already amazing tan...

sippin on some ice cold drinks :)

my drink of choice...?

piña coladas!

i have an obsession.

seriously. 

i found the perfect recipe for resort style piña coladas

at home :)

what you need:

captain morgan original spiced rum

 coco lopez cream of coconut

dole pineapple juice

ice

pineapple slices

& little colorful umbrellas

the exact recipe is on the back of the coco lopez can...

but i prefer my way ;)

2 ounces of coco lopez

half a can of coco lopez

2 ounces of pineapple juice

1 small can of pineapple juice

1.5 ounces of rum

3 double shots of rum ;)

1 cup of ice

2 cups of ice

mix in blender until 

s m o o t h

pour into glass

add a slice of pineapple 

(aesthetically pleasing and edible!)

and throw in a colorful umbrella... 

...just cuz.

voilà! c'est fini!

how was everyone's 4th of july weekend?!

me and my girlfriends had an amazing vegas vacay!

[my girlfriends being my girl alex "teo" and our cut n' paste bags;

jasmine, zoe and harper ;)]

k. first things first - my nails...

no need to worry about your mani chipping with these bad boys!

next... early morning flight to vegas... 

all packed and ready to jet set with my jasmine bag and jackson wallet

first night out...

got the essentials in my zoe

(the best crossbody ever made - no joke.)

 

and we were off to the marquee nightclub to see our favorite edm dj

KASKADE!!

needless to say.. the next morning afternoon i was in full recovery mode at the cosmo blvd pool

zzzzz....

second night we decided to go to lavo for some old school hip hop with dj vice

me and zoe and teo and harper

 

girls night ;)

...and then this happened at 4:30 am...

room keys + demagnetization = secret pizza party outside our room

stupid good.

before we knew it... it was already time to fly home..

hello loves!

so... it's been about.. well... exactly a year since my last post..

so seriously lame of me. 

i did however create an instagram for my blog that i have been updating!

a diy hawaii wedding

just got married!

the wedding was two weeks ago at 

the grand wailea resort in maui, hawaii.

thank you so much to everyone at jen's pirate booty 

the dresses were PERFECT and quite a hit!

 

the beautiful bride is wearing the goddess dress in gauze

i am wearing the nena tunic in fire

and my new sister is wearing the poncho villa tunic in peaches

jen's pirate booty is a malibu based company

effortless pieces that can be dressed up or down

they worked perfectly for our beachy wedding 

the wedding was intimate and so beautiful

planning this wedding was so much fun

you don't always need to go into debt to have the wedding that you hope for...

my mom and i made the flower bouquets

i took all of our photos

& no shoes were necessary ;)

besides the priest, it was only our family which made it that much more special.
